The Mean Girls actress, who was out at Beverly Hills restaurant Yu-N-Mi, has reportedly paid off a contract that tied her into party promotion, therefore, avoiding temptation that might come along with it. According to a Star source, “Her agreement with Pure nightclub was that she got paid $350,000 for a series of appearances, including her 21st birthday blowout. When Lindsay went into rehab and had to cancel the party, the club offered to take the money back, but she’d already spent it!”
But since that time, LiLo has come up with the cash to pay them back, which keeps her from having to appear at the remainder of events left on the contract.
The insider tells, “She’s taken what money she earned doing her latest movie and bought her way out of it.”

Keri Russell and River Touch Down In LA
The former “Felicity” star has been busy promoting her upcoming movie, August Rush, which hits theaters on November 23rd. Meanwhile, contrary to recent reports, the Golden Globe winning actress said that she hasn’t signed on to appear in J.J. Abrams’ upcoming “Star Trek” movie. The speculation seems to have arisen out of the fact that the two have a strong history, as Abrams’ co-created “Felicity” and directed “Mission: Impossible III,” both of which featured Russell.
“Oh, J.J. Abrams is doing ‘Star Trek!’ There was maybe a thing, but it turns out that I’ve played it in so many other parts that we just decided to not do it,” Russell told press in NYC a few days ago.
“But I was just with J.J. last week and I don’t know, if he could find something else, we would (work together again.) I want to be in everything he does. … But I don’t think the thing that we had talked about is going to work out.”

Along with Kate, Fools and Horses star Nicholas Lyndhurst, rugby player Jonny Wilkinson, golfer Darren Clarke, and fashion designers Stella McCartney, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana will also be getting first-time mentions in the chronicle.

Paris Hilton Parties In South Beach
If you happened to be in Miami, Florida last night, you may have caught a glimpse of Paris Hilton. The heiress was in town to attend the International Wednesdays Party at Mansion Nightclub in South Beach.The “Simple Life” starlet wore a sundress-style garment with a weird mixture of animal-print and turquoise accents. But her handbag really stole the show- it was a gold-paneled Fort Knox-esque accessory that matched her gold shoes. And if you were hoping to see Miss Hilton on the Bachelorette, it looks like you’ll be disappointed. She has officially stated that she won’t be doing that gig.
Paris says she would never consider an offer from the show. “I don’t usually like the guys that would want to be on that kind of show.” After all, she already has a Swedish boytoy, so why would she need to put herself out there like that?

Lauren Conrad’s Big Decision
As a teaser for Monday’s all-new episode of “The Hills,” Lauren Conrad told press that she makes a “life-changing” decision. And since it’s the season-three finale, it’s only right that they go out with a bang.
Conrad told press, “I gotta be honest, I haven’t seen the final episode yet. I know that something happens in our lives, but I don’t know what they’re showing. … Something very exciting happens in my life. I can’t tell you what, obviously, because it has to air, but it was a life-changing something.” Rumor has it, she’s offered a second chance to go live in Paris. And if you remember, she turned down her first opportunity at the offer in order to be with Jason Wahler. But LC won’t confirm whether or not that’s the decision she’s talking about.
She said, “I have to make a very big decision—which I made, which I’m very happy with now.” And that’s all the preview we’re gonna get for “The Hills” so it looks like we’ll just have to tune in to see what happens.

Amy Winehouse Visits Jailbird Hubby
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Amy Winehouse hasn’t been taking the incarceration of her husband Blake Fielder-Civil very well. The only thing keeping her going is the fact that she gets to visit him frequently.
Earlier today, the “Rehab” singer stopped by the London prison to pay her love a visit. When she arrived, the prison guards made her wait outside until she was approved by the warden.
During her wait, she smoked a cigarette, and informed the paparazzi that Blake is doing “fantastic.” She even smiled when one of the shutterbugs paid her a compliment on her appearance.
After the prison visit, Amy stopped by a convenience store and picked up a bottle of wine, sweets and Walkers Sensations potato chips before returning home.
Given her emotional breakdown earlier this week, it is good to hear that Winehouse is feeling positive again. Friend/producer Mark Ronson reported that she’s really excited about her six Grammy Nominations.
He said, “She’s good. I called her today because the record was something that we went through together … Hopefully she will get into America so we can celebrate. Amy doesn’t get excited about anything. She was never once excited while in the studio. And today she is just like, ‘Yeah, Ronnie, chops, we got Grammy nominations.’ That’s her. But she is happy and psyched.”
